CHAMOMILE FLOWER + MINT TEA

Chamomile and mint make a great combination that fights stress, inflammations and bad digestion

Chamomile is a natural herbal medicine that's been around since 500 BC. It has a light, floral flavor with a hint of natural sweetness. Chamomile contains anti-inflammatory properties, reduces anxiety, improves sleep quality, soothes sore throat, along with many other benefits.

My homemade chamomile mint tea contains fresh chamomile flowers, fresh mint leaves, and winter lemon that are strengthen the immune system.

Chamomile combined with mint contain various health benefits that are beneficial for your daily well-being.

STRONG FOR IMMUNITY

Mint strengthens the immune system due to its exceptional antibacterial properties.

NATURALLY CALMING

Both herbs have the ability to calm, reduce anxiety, promote better sleep.

HELPS AID DIGESTION

Mint relieves gastrointestinal diseases, and chamomile soothes digestive system.

KEEPS THE FLU AWAY

Mint reduces high temperature and helps with respiratory problems by relaxing the muscles of the throat and chest.


INGREDIENTS:
Serves about 4 cups (34 oz / 1l )


•5 tablespoons of fresh chamomile flowers

•6-8 mint leaves depending on the size

•3-4 lemon slices

•honey optional

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Wash and pop the head of the chamomile flowers off the stem.

2. Slice about 3-4 thin lemon slices, and combine with fresh mints.

3. Fill up your tea kettle and bring to a boil. In the mean time add chamomile, mint leaves, and lemon into a tea strainer/filter.

4. Pour about 30-34oz / 1l of hot water into your tea press, and let simmer for about 5 minutes.

5. Pour filtered tea into a cup, serve warm with a splash of honey. (The mint leaves and lemon will make it slightly bitter, depending on your taste buds honey will make it sweeter).

6. Sip warm and enjoy!
