Stop throwing away your banana peels, save them for a homemade DIY plant fertilizer instead!

This 2 ingredient DIY plant fertilizer is packed with potassium, phosphorus, and calcium. Banana peels have beneficial nutrients that perfect for your indoor plants and herbs. Save your money and waste!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 banana peel per 1 jar

  • cold water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add a banana peel to a clean air-tight jar.

  2. Fill with water all the way.

  3. Store in the fridge for 2-3 days. The water will turn slightly brown.

  4. After 3 days, strain and use “banana water” to water your plants/herbs.

  5. Compost and discard banana peel.
